I am an artist working in stitch and mixed media based in East Sussex. As soon as I was able I was either drawing or stitching but only recently decided to combine the two.

My current work explores issues to do with western society, domestic stereotypes and women’s issues and situations in particular. Although the subject matter can be a serious one I like to open a dialogue by injecting a little humour into the proceedings. 

I use dense machine embroidery in addition and as an alternative to paint. I also create individual items of art to wear, drawing on 20 years experience as a couturier.

I work to commission in addition to my own themes.
